Meet The Team

Greg is the president of Nichols Financial and has been in the insurance and annuity industry for over 39 years.

Greg’s decision to enter financial services was prompted by his grandmother’s financial struggle following his grandfather’s death. After discovering that a bank advisor had poorly invested most of their money, she had to rely on Social Security, which was not enough for her to live on alone. Motivated by his grandmother’s experience, Greg made it his mission to become a financial professional and help protect his family — and anyone else he knew — from what his grandmother went through.

Greg graduated from Catawba College with degrees in accounting and business administration. He holds insurance licenses in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Delaware.

When creating financial strategies for his clients, Greg uses an ethics-based approach that focuses on what is best for the client. He has assisted generations of families with retirement and estate solutions by reaching out, nurturing and maintaining close relationships. Greg is experienced, responsive and understands clients’ needs for integrity, transparency and full disclosure.

Greg and his wife, Betty, reside in Knoxville, Maryland. They have three children and 11 grandchildren. In his free time, he is very active in his church and various charities. Greg also enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing and golf.
